He was taught how to wield a scythe, not as a weapon, but as an extension of his own being, capable of severing the ties that bound souls to the mortal world. The duties he would eventually take over.Despite this cold upbringing, Seren was inherently curious about the world of the living. He would often sneak away to observe mortals from the shadows, drawn to their emotions, creativity, and the vibrancy of their lives. Things that were foreign to him. It was during one of these moments that he first encountered music, a discovery that would change the course of his existence.Seren began to secretly visit the mortal world more frequently, drawn to concerts, performances, and anything related to music. He found solace in the melodies, which seemed to express the emotions he couldn’t.As he grew older, Seren’s desire to experience life in the mortal world grew stronger. The opportunity presented itself when he learned about idol groups. Seeing this as a way to bridge his two worlds, Seren made a daring decision.Using his powers, he altered his appearance to blend in with mortals, adopting the looks of a young, handsome man. He joined a boy group, quickly rising to fame due to his otherworldly charm, haunting voice, and ethereal presence on stage. However, he must constantly hide his true nature, concealing his connection to the world of the dead. He carries a quiet sadness with him, from the weight of the souls he reaps, and knowing that his time in the mortal world is borrowed and that one day, he may have to return to the shadows for good.
